Chevron Table

Chevron Table

This is the project I was telling you about last week.
I found this ugly square table for $5 at a garage sale.
I said, "Steve, can you believe I got this for $5?"  He said, "Why did you want it?"
Because see, this is what it looked like...

BEFORE

I used two different colors of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint... Paris Grey and Coco.
This first coat pictured above is Coco.

Notice that this post is NOT called TUTORIAL on CHEVRON Painting!  I could not do a tutorial on it if I wanted to.  I'm not mathematically minded (to say the least) and I'm not really sure how I figured this one out in the long run.  I did get the chevron on there and pretty evenly so let's just leave it at that!

You know I can't sign off on this post without telling you that I love ASCP!
You can get it here in Memphis at "Me & Mrs. Jones"... http://www.mrsjonespaintedfinishes.com/index.html

or you can order it online at Shades of Amber at... http://www.shadesofamber.net/

Find out more about ASCP at Annie Sloan's Website... http://www.anniesloan.com/

  2. Nicole, I did a double take....I thought you had found my old TV stand without the casters on it. It does look very nice and I love the uniqueness of it. Thanks for sharing, Helen

    1. That's funny! This one didn't have casters on it but it reminded me of one that we used to have with the little wheels, we would roll the tv from one room to another when we first got married and were extremely poor with only $ for one tv!

  3. What a wonderful transformation! I love the updated look of the chevrons and the paint colors you used. I think I'm the only person in blogland who hasn't tried chalk paint yet, but I would like to try soon. Thanks for sharing with us at Your Cozy Home Party this week!
