These were a big hit at Christmas last year.
The kids all LOVED them… the adults too!
They're pretty easy, you just make a standard Oreo cake pop but add a face and a hat.
Here's the Recipe…
Ingredients:
2 - 15 oz. Oreo cookies
8 oz. cream cheese
30-40 popsicle sticks
1 pkg white chocolate chips
1 pkg milk chocolate chips
8 oz. miniature Oreo cookies
Orange Sprinkles
Crush the Oreos and add cream cheese.
Shape into balls - about 35.
Melt the white chocolate in microwave, stirring every 30 seconds.
After chocolate is completely melted and smooth,
dip each Oreo ball into the chocolate and coat completely.
WORK QUICKLY!!!
Separate Oreo cookies. Place one half with center side down on wax paper.
Set coated white chocolate ball onto the Oreo half.
Allow to dry.
Use a little leftover white chocolate to attach miniature Oreos to top of hats.
I melted a little milk chocolate to "paint" on dot eyes and mouth.
I used an orange sprinkle for each nose.
Here's another tip: use a paper plate and deep bowl for storage and display.
Do this by punching the sticks through plate.
Place it over a deep bowl (as shown above)
This keeps them from getting messed up.
Perfect storage!
