Just in time for all those New Year's Resolutions.
This recipe is insane.
I don't usually fry anything!
And I never pour syrup over my entire dinner but WOW!
So, here it is…
Buttermilk Waffles Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c. self-rising flour
2 tbsp. sugar
2 c. low-fat buttermilk
1/3 c. melted butter
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
Whisk flour and sugar together. Then add remaining ingredients until just combined. Don't over mix.
Pour batter to about 1/2 inch from edge of waffle iron. Cook until brown.

Homemade Maple Syrup
Ingredients:
3/4 c. water
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
Instructions:
Bring water and sugar to a boil, turn down to medium heat and continue boiling for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add maple flavoring. Stir and serve.
