Apple Crisp... Cast Iron style
Here's another great recipe from Brown Eyed Baker. What drew me to this recipe was the cast-iron skillet. I love how this recipe has you cooking everything in the cast iron skillet and then sticking it in the oven to bake. It has a great presentation factor this way too. I served mine with vanilla ice cream. I only got a pic of it before I popped it in the oven because as soon as it came out, it was gobbled up. I will say that it will be better if you let it "set up" before you serve but my crew was anxious to get started. You can find the recipe here.
